10:30am - The Covenant Players will be presenting plays for kids at the Ketchikan Public Library. All are welcome. For more information, contact the library at 225-3331

Applications for the 2005 Sam Pitcher Music Scholarship are due February 1, 2005. Scholarships up to $1000 are available to students in grades 7 - 12 to attend summer music programs. It is the applicant's responsibility to select a program and explain on the application form how it would benefit them. Application forms are available at the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council office, McPherson's Music store and the counselor's office at Ketchikan High School.

Noon - Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce Luncheon - Robert Collars the Detachment Director of Naval Surface Warfare Center and William Harney the Site Director Naval Surface Warfare Center. They will be giving an update of upgrades to the Back Island Testing Facilitites.

10 ­ Noon Ketchikan Watercolor Society is sponsoring an open group show in May.  Come get in on the planning session, Saturday, February 5th at the First Lutheran Church Annex. Get to know other watercolorists, exchange ideas, and let art be part of your life.

6:30 pm "Women's Path To Success Conference" (click here)

7:00 pm UAS Ketchikan VideoVersity Film Series presents its second film this semester Saturday, March 5 at 7:00pm in the UAS Ketchikan Campus Library. The spring series features musicals and this film stars Julie Andrews, Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Channing in a spoof of a 1920s-style caper. VideoVersity is free to the public and all are welcomed to attend. Proceeds from refreshments at intermission support Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
