Event: Kick-off Ceremony

• Location: Plaza Mall
• Time: 7-8 p.m.
• Join us in kicking off this weeklong celebration of a healthy drug-free lifestyle! Refreshments and entertainment provided.

October 24th - Thursday - "Better Things Day"

Event: Participating elementary schools create "Better Things to do than Drugs" paper chains.

• Location: Contact your children's school to find our participation status.
• Take time to talk with your family about types of better things to do than drugs.

Event: Better Things Movie Night!

• Location: Alaskans for Drug Free Youth - 126 Washington St.
• K-6 Grade: 4-6 p.m. / 8-12th Grade 6-8 p.m.

October 25th - Friday - "Friendship Day"

Event: KIC Tribal Alcohol Program Red Ribbon Halloween Dance for ages 14-18

• Location: 429 Deermont Time: 7-10 p.m.
• Free with a red ribbon (provided at door)

Event: Caught with a Red Ribbon Ice-cream Bonanza

• Location: Schoenbar Jr. High Time: Lunch Time (Schoenbar Students Only)
• Get caught wearing a Red Ribbon and get a free ice-cream bar. Yum!

Event: Red Ribbon Aerobics

• Location: Gateway Recreation Center
• Step Aerobics 6-7 a.m.
• Israeli Dance 9-10 a.m.
• Step Aerobics 4:30-5 p.m.
• Pilate Workout 5-5:30 p.m.
• Fat Burner Aerobics 5:45-6:45 p.m.
• Step/Pilate Workout 7:30-8:40 p.m.
• Be your own friend - do something healthy for YOU! Free Aerobics classes when wearing a red ribbon.

October 26th - Saturday - "Family Day"

Event: Red Ribbon Celebration / Physical Therapy Month Family Fun Walk, Wheel & Run
Starting point: 126 Washington St.

• Time: Registration begins at 9 a.m. / 1-mile run: 9:30 a.m. / 5k Run 10 a.m.
• Take the family on a healthy 1-mile walk or a refreshing 5k run - nutritious refreshments day t-shirts provided!
• Prizes for guessing your finishing time and best costume!

Event: Red Ribbon Roller-skating

• Location: Gateway Rec. Ctr. (skates provided)
• Time: 4-5:45 p.m. & 6-6:45 p.m.

Event: Red Ribbon Swim time!

• Location: Mike Smither's Community Pool
• Time: 1:15-3:15 p.m.
• Skate or swim for free when wearing a red ribbon! A Great family activity!

October 27th - Sunday - "Religious Day"

Event: Contact your faith leader or congregation about Red Ribbon opportunities.

October 28th - Monday - "Red Reach Out Day" - WEAR RED TODAY!!

Event: Elementary School Red Ribbon canned food drive benefiting Salvation Army

• Location: Contact your child's school for participation status
• Reach out to others day show your support for a healthy drug-free community and Wear Red today!

October 29th - Tuesday - "Growing Strong Together Day"

Event: Elem. schools plant "Growing Strong Together" Forget-me-nots in classroom pots.

• Location: Contact your child's school for participation status

Event: Growing Strong Together Red Ribbon Family activities

• Location: Plaza Mall Time: Activities 3-8 p.m.
• Free family fun! Cup Cake walk, pin the ribbon on the person, create-a-spider booth, create candy necklaces and much more!

October 30th - Wednesday - "Heroes Day"

Event: Heroes Celebration

• Location: Saxman Tribal House
• Time: 7- 8:30 p.m.
• Nominate a Hero in your life who has been a positive drug free influence day honor them at this celebration!

October 31st - Thursday - "Say Boo to Drugs Day"

Event: All City Halloween Party

• Location: Plaza Mall Time: Party: 5-8 p.m.
• Bring your children to this Halloween party extravaganza - play games, win prizes & candy in a safe, drug-free environment!
