Clare Patton

 

Clare Patton has made the difference in the lives of many youth in this community. As a Clare Pattonteacher, she has nurtured many students, especially those having difficulty in their personal lives. Even in her very busy life she finds time to spend with those who need extra support, and seems to instinctively know who those students are. She is an approachable and safe adult to confide in as students are valued for who they are.

In her classroom, Clare finds creative ways to involve students in the learning process, recognizing that individuals learn in different ways. In her role as a regular cast member of First City Players productions, Clare encourages other cast members to feel confident in their talents, and actively involves youth in the community as cast members or technical support. she is an inspired leader of Issues Drama and Peer Helpers.

Clare is recognized for building just about all of the forty assets.

Anna Annicelli presented the award to Patton.
