Highway was in fact not the result of a traffic accident.

Reportedly, the vehicle ran out of gas and was parked on the side of the road by the driver. A KPD staff person said it is unknown why the parked truck rolled into the ditch striking the rock wall. It is also unknown as to how the fire started which led to an explosion.

The truck was unoccupied at the time it rolled into the ditch and at the time of the fire & explosion. There were no reported injuries to humans or animals. However, initially at the time of the incident it was unclear if the vehicle was occupied but it was later discovered that there were fortunately no occupants.

The name of the owner has not been released and there is no accident investigation ongoing of the incident.
